The Lead Hen
Hermie thinks she's in charge. She keeps the other hens in check, but always seems late on the eggs. Maybe she's too busy dominating the coop.
MYRTLE
The Flyer
She thinks she can fly, so you'll always find her perched up high. According to the three-year-old, "She can fly a li'l blit." Maybe one day she just will.
HEDWIG
The Chicken Chicken
Afraid of her shadow. Also, she's kind of a dummy. Without Hermie to hold her wing, she'll get lost anywhere in the backyard.
LILY
The Baby
One of the adorable newbies, she's not afraid to flex at Hermie, though that doesn't usually end well for her.
BELLA
A Rooster?
Okay, Bella might be a boy. Time will tell. But that's fine; we love her anyway.
